I loved being in the world Rebecca created in Drake the Dragonboy, and I couldn't put it down.

I enjoyed discovering a race of people descended from dragons, and the way their world is part of our world but not quite.
I found the characters easy to relate to and engaging. While the narrative is simple and easy to read, the interest lies in the exciting mix of adventure, fantasy and real life early high school issues such as role reversal with parents, and parents separation. I have two daughters who also loved the book.

My 9 year old sat down and read it for hours by herself.
My 6 year old, who is really into flying, said "It's an awesome book!" and wouldn't let me stop reading. We are hoping that dragon wings go on sale in toy shops soon!
I've heard the next story will be written with the female character, Juniper, as the main character, which is really "awesome"!
My daughters and I can't wait to read more.

My ten year old son, who can be a reluctant reader, adored this book. He read it in a few sittings and said he found it interesting and loved the adventure. He has asked for more books about Drake!
