When I first started reading, I wasn't quite sure where this book was going. It started out a little too religious for my preference until I realized what the real message was. It's basically a different interpretation of the bible into something more spiritual than organized religion. It's not at all preachy and really isn't about religion so much as it's about getting in tune with God (who ever you perceive him or her to be) and getting your life dialed into that rhythm. Once you do, the universe starts to fall in line for you and things that were once difficult and impossible become much easier to address and deal with. It's all about being on the right wavelength so that you can open the doors to letting good come into your life. You can ask God for anything. Shinn even believes we can ask God for material things like money or a better house--that God wants to give us all that we desire as long as we are on the path of God. You can't receive good by putting out bad. When you are on the right track, doors open and you will get what you ask for. It's a matter of believing, of asking, of concentrating on what you want, of inviting it into your life, and making a place for it to stay.
If you read this, you won't regret it! This book is sure to help you through the journey of life with a more positive and confident outlook. To me, you cannot go wrong with this one! My eyes are now wide open to my good, thanks to the wonderful, Florence Scovel -Shinn!

Florence Scovel-Shinn makes clear a way to prosperity through accepting truth and positive thoughts. If you liked her first book you'll again be enthralled by this work. It may be many decades since it was written but it is still very relevant today.
This is an amazing book. Having loved her book The Game of Life and How to Play It for decades since my mother gave me a copy, I was interested to read this book. Similarly to the other book, this one offers profound wisdom based on the Bible, although with a somewhat spiritualist tone that was common in her day. It is encouraging, and best of all--being based on the Bible--what she says to do actually works. Her books are easy to read, and the real-life stories of people who have had miracles occur from following her Bible-based advice are inspiring. I advise you not to lend your copies out to anyone; just buy them their own copy. Otherwise, you may not get yours back.
This book by Ms. Shinn is amazing. More useful information here than in so many self-help books.
